The essence is our personality, which lives deep within us. But ultimately, even that essence can be lost until seemingly only the meaninglessness of the ritual remains.

We often think of clouds as bringing rain, as a kind of natural weather forecast. But they are also a part of our lives, providing colour and texture. The Cloudcatcher appears to be an alien entity, exhibiting a kind of metamorphosis.

In this project, I seek to actively experiment with my role as a photographer in the context of a rapidly changing world where the value of the image has become ephimeral.
