Sly and the Family Stone - family affair
For this project I have been working with a number of photographical techniques such as scanning, reproduction using multiple film types, printing, changing the technical properties of instant film by chemical manipulation. The major idea was to revisit the existing photographic material entirely and explore how I could alter the original (and very different) DNA of each portrait to let it become a part, fitting in a new graphical concept.
Processed Fujifilm FP100C film chemically treated to remove the back layer.
Original reproduction pictures shot, using Kodak 400TX 120 roll film on a vintage medium format camera
