Interactive Media: installation art comprising an artist book and natural materials
This is where I stumbled, where I came into resonance with our own impermanence. The monotony of it covers us like a thick, gloomy blanket, dimming all light and taking all colour out of our words. I realize that someday, eventually the fire in our hearts could go out.
共鳴 (Resonance) is a deep, personal reflection - a crossover project between different art forms.
In essence, this work is inspired by typical Japanese aesthetics and abstraction. The beauty of things that are imperfect, impermanent and incomplete.  The chaos around us slowly but surely affects everything but also creates beauty.
Stones are the most timeless element. Other objects and shapes evoke associations. Some pictures reflect  our essence, our vulnerability. I also value modesty and humility, the orientation towards nature.
By means of an art installation, containing  a subtle handcrafted booklet and a mysterious stone, the viewer is led to a point where he comes into resonance with his own impermanence.
